📏 Recommended installation height

For a so-called laying hen , we recommend installing the feeder at an average height of: 38 to 45 cm from the ground to the bottom of the feeder (to be adjusted according to the size of the animal)

This height corresponds to the standard morphology of an adult laying hen and allows for:

• natural and comfortable access to food
• optimal posture while pecking

Good to know: The height must be adjusted according to the breed and size of the poultry or game.

🐔 What feeder capacity should I choose?

At EVENA, we recommend 1 feeder for a maximum of 6 to 7 chickens , to ensure comfortable access to food and limit competition.

Recommended capacity for one week's consumption

• 3 kg feeder (H 50cm) → ideal for 2 to 3 chickens
• 5 kg feeder (H 80cm) → ideal for 4 to 5 chickens
• 7 kg feeder (H 110cm) → ideal for 6 to 7 chickens

These recommendations are based on average weekly consumption .
